A practical, engaging Chemistry day aimed at students primarily coming to the end of their first year in A-Level or equivalent study in chemistry, this event will include hands-on lab experience with some of the larger instrument analytical techniques, study/personal statement skills, and a taster lecture on nerve agents from Dr Peter Cragg. There will also be the opportunity to meet current undergraduate students and academic members of staff to discuss what it’s like to study chemistry and where the degree can take you.
